This is your opportunity to be a part of a unique volunteer experience! Come join our exciting, energetic, fun, child-centered program for our autistic daughter, based upon the Option Method: Son-Rise. You’re invited to make a difference in Siobhan's life and recharge your own sense of life and well-being. Our in-home Son-Rise program is based on an attitude of love and acceptance and uses a format that is gentle, non-judgmental, and profoundly respectful of Siobhan's world. By joining Siobhan and building a bridge between her world and ours, you will experience the empowerment of giving to others. We are now interviewing people with a variety of skills and interests, who want to participate with us and learn the Option teaching skills. No previous experience is required, as all training will be provided. Days and times are flexible, but commitment is required. There are many other ways you can help us. You may have resources or skills that we don't. If you can offer your service or time, it would be appreciated more than you know. |

Another way to help...
| We want to promote a more positive message of hope to other families. One way we like to do this is to support & display artists with Autism on our site. It shows the beautiful thoughts, feelings & expression these exceptional kids have! If you would like to help us, please donate a piece of your artwork to be sold online. If you're a painter, a sculptor, a seamstress, a jeweler, a glass-blower,.... Whatever your craft is... Please donate a piece of your work or a product you make to help us make a difference. We donate & raise funds for several different Autism-related charities, including Autism Speaks, A Different Road foundation, and KindTree productions.
